Nortel Norstar Callpilot 100/150 BACKUP and RESTORE utility

To run the BACKUP/RESTORE utility on a Nortel Norstar Callpilot 100/150
- Install backup restore utility onto your computer desktop from Nortel Networks Norstar Callpilot CD.
- Connect to the Callpilot using crossover cable to the Ethernet port.
- The default IP address of a Nortel Callpilot is 192.168.110.10
- Make sure that the IP range of your computer/laptop is compatible with the IP range of the Nortel Callpilot.
- Initialize Internet Explorer. The Nortel Callpilot interface should come up with a prompt for the password (the second part of your login)
- Enter the SM password.
- The main Norstar Callpilot interface menu will come up. Click on OPERATIONS
- Click on BACKUP/RESTORE
- A screen will open explaining that the Nortel Callpilot will be placed in a special mode. Click CONTINUE
- A new window will open, click CLOSE
- Internet Explorer will close. Initialize the Callpilot’s BACKUP/RESTORE tool.
- Set the tool for BACKUP, and input a file name for the backup.
- Run the utility
Your Nortel Networks Callpilot information is backed up and can be restored to the unit the same way, just change the settings in step 12 to RESTORE.

Interesting topic… I’m working in this industry myself and I don’t agree about this in 100%, but I added your page to my bookmarks and hope to see more interesting articles in the future
