Using a Toshiba DKT display phone to set date and time

All programming from a Toshiba telephone must be done from the programming set, a 20 button display phone. This set will be assigned to DN 10 or 200.

There are three steps to Setting the date and time on your Toshiba DKT display telephone. With the handset ON the cradle you proceed as follows:

First you set the date.

  1. Press [INTERCOM] + #651. You will hear a tone.
  2. enter the date in a 6 digit format. (YYMMDD)
  3. press REDIAL, wait for the tone, then press SPKR.

The date is now set. Next we set the time of day.

  1. Press [INTERCOM] + #652. once again you will hear a tone.
  2. Enter the time in 24 hour clock format, again using 6 digits. (HHMMSS)
  3. Press REDIAL, wait for the tone, then press SPKR.

The time of day is now programmed. Finally we set the day of the week.

  1. Press [INTERCOM] + #653. Wait for the tone.
  2. Enter number 1 - 7 coresponding with the day of the week. (1 corresponds to Sunday)
  3. Press REDIAL, wait for the tone, then press SPKR

The Date, Time, and Day of the week are now programmed!

    Hi Chad,

Thank you for the info you submitted. I have a question tho. When I press the [DN] plus 651#, nothing happens. I am assuming the [DN] is the directory number or extension number. My ext is 11 so I press 11 then 651 # (# = pound) and nothing happens. Can you please advise me, yes I am totally illiterate bout pbx’s.
Thanx a whole bunch for your help.

    Best regards,
    Jake

You are correct, [DN] means directory number, but the system identifies your extension through the intercom path, So [DN] is the intercom button. I am changing the wording of my blog to reflect this.

    Thanks!
    Chad
