The Avaya J179 phone has multiple line with red/green line/feature indicators on its display. It’s 3.5 (diagonal) color display with 320 X 240 pixels keeps the user engaged. The J179 is supported on the Avaya Aura (Sip or AST) enhancing integration. Contact Center Manager Server is also supported, for sip lines on IP Office. The Avaya J179 is supported on selected 3rd party open sip calling platform. The H.323 software integrates with Avaya Communication Manager. On the back of phone, you’ll find the integrated RJ9 headset port with Electronic Hook Switch. You’ll have the options of J100 wireless module for Wi-Fi or Bluetooth headset connectivity. The Avaya J179 can support up to three JBM24 expansion modules. Built in volume boost in handset, mute key with mute alert, and 4 context sensitive soft keys. Receive dual Ethernet port to support PC, along with simultaneous registration, configurable via web interface like the 9600 series.
This J179 is compatible with SIP 2.0 or later software and IP Office 11.0 or later software.
